1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using VLsaving (the "App"), provided by developer: Vigliaroli Luca, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of the service
VLsaving is a personal budgeting and savings-tracking tool that lets you record income, expenses, and investments, set a savings goal, and view summary charts. The App runs client-side in your browser and stores the data you enter locally on your device.
3. Not financial, tax, or investment advice
The App is provided for general informational and organizational purposes only. Nothing in the App — including projections, "daily saving needed" calculations, category summaries, or charts — constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use the App.
5. Your data and your responsibility
All data you enter is stored locally in your browser; we do not receive, store, or back it up on any server.
If you choose to sign in with your Google account to sync your data across devices, that data and your financial data are transmitted and stored on Supabase's servers, as described in the Privacy Policy. Sign-in happens exclusively through Google Sign-In: we do not manage or store any password.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
You are solely responsible for backing up your data using the App's CSV export feature. We are not responsible for data loss caused by clearing browser storage, switching devices or browsers, browser bugs, or uninstalling/reinstalling software.
The "Reset Data" function permanently deletes your locally stored data and cannot be undone by us, since we never had a copy of it.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations;
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its underlying code beyond what applicable law permits;
- Use the App to store or process data belonging to third parties without their consent.
7. Free and paid tiers
VLsaving is currently offered as a "Free Edition."
8. Intellectual property
The App's design, code, and branding are owned by Vigliaroli Luca or its licensors, except for third-party libraries and resources (Google Fonts, flagcdn.com), which remain governed by their own respective licenses. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative products from the App without permission, except as permitted by any open-source license that applies to specific components.
9. "As is" disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations will be free of bugs.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vigliaroli Luca shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or financial loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including loss of locally stored data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for fraud or, where applicable, statutory consumer-protection rights).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vigliaroli Luca from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time; since your data lives locally, this is effectively immediate and complete once you clear your browser storage. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Italian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have as a resident of the European Union, including access to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
